Celebrities talk about Haitian relief on Oprah
In the latest Oprah Winfrey Show, Rapper Wyclef, and singers Rihanna and Maxwell talked about their efforts towards bringing relief in Haiti. Wyclef showed a video taken of his recent trip to Haiti, where he was born. In the video, Wyclef is shown in a mask which he wore to protect himself from the smell of dead bodies in the rubble.
Two lives saved miraculously in Haiti
In an attempt to clear the rubble of a supermarket in Haiti, devastated from the earthquake, New York cops and firefighters rescued a young brother and sister who had been buried for seven days. According to reports, the eight year old boy and the ten year old girl were found two stories under the flattened three-story building in Port-au-Prince.

To the despair of the people who were left homeless with scarce food and water supplies, another tragedy was added. The Haitian national jail was one of the buildings that broke down during last Tuesday’s earthquake opening the bars for three thousand criminals.
