 Egypt 1- 0 Ghana

 Egypt 1- 0 Ghana

Egypt 1- 0 Ghana

The Pharaohs are kings of all Africa as Egypt win the African Cup of Nations. Egypt will take home the African Cup of Nations for the seventh time, after scoring a late goal against Ghana in a nail biting final in Angola.

Mohamed Gedo, a substitute, scored the only goal in the 85th minute of the match. Not only did he secure victory for the Egyptians, but he also took the title of the highest scoring player in the tournament. The Ghanaians did their best to find an equaliser and Kwadwo Asamoah attempted a goal in the 90th minute.

But the Ghanaian side watched in despair as it went wide and it was the Pharaohs day as they took their unprecedented third successive title. The young Ghanaian Black Stars will go home disappointed, but their youthful and energetic performances have shown them to be a tenacious and motivated team.
