For the first time since the set up of the rally in 1990, Total E&P Congo chose for its 20th anniversary to line up its own Rally team who will compete on March 13 at the Rally.
Marie Claude Moura, in charge of human resources and Frédérique Moyou Ollessongo, a computer scientist, are both members of the rally team. ‘The Rally Aïcha of the Gazelles is foremost a whole of values. This is the reason why we have accepted the challenge’, confide us, Frédérique Moyou Ollesongo. She adds: ‘This event is about being in complete sync with the total demeanour.
Furthermore, the race means living the big adventure, surpassing oneself, endeavour and solidarity.'In search of thrills and challenge, the two Congolese gazelles', have proven to have team spirit and to be motivated. Marie Claude Moura, carries on: ‘The Rally Aïcha of the Gazelles is not only a sports event, it is first of all a humanitarian act and we are very proud to take part in it. All profits will go to the association of The Heart of the gazelles.
‘We used to be so hungry to compete, after a short break, we have pulled ourselves together and now we’re ready to represent Total E&P Congo who is our sponsor and employer. Mboloko, the name of the rally team, chosen by the two ladies, means "Gazelle" in Lingala, one of Congo’s many languages!

When Dominique Serra created the sports event ‘Aicha Rally of Gazelles’ in 1990, she foremost wished to stay loyal to her values: commitment, gallantry, willpower, courage, generosity and solidarity
