Sierra Leone: ready for business?
This week the Sierra Leonean government held its first rebranding exercise on a large scale, after the end of the 11-year civil war in 2002. The Trade and Investment Conference took place in London and featured high profile supporters such as former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, as well as American business giant George Soros. The event aimed at promoting the 'New Agenda for Change' launched by President Bai Koroma and at promoting the country for international trade and investment.
